1. When cleaning the exterior of your grill, use only non-abrasive cleaners. Painted exterior or porcelain and stainless steel can still get damaged with the use of abrasive cleaners. Look for a mild cleaning solution that can be bought from the grocery store. This can be the same cleaning solution you are using for your other kitchen appliances. Spray it on the exterior of the machine. Wipe it using paper towels or a clean dish rag. Soak the dish rag in warm water and rinse the exterior of the washer. Remove dirt and the residues of the cleaner.

After cleaning, remove the sear plates. If there is hardened debris on the sear plates, try removing through a scraper. Get a clean brush and remove the excess soot or ash. Make sure you remove all dirt and ash particles. Use the brush to push the collected debris and ashes into the drip pan.
Remove the drip pan and scrape off the residues on it as well. Empty the contents of the drip pan on a trash receptacle.
Most grills have disposable drip pans. You can discard the drip pan if you have used it for about 4 weeks.
3. To clean the burner, turn off the propane tank first. Allow it to rest before disconnecting the gas supply. Remove the cover of the burner. Mix cleaning solution. Combine a cup of white vinegar, a gallon of hot water and a bit of dishwashing liquid. Place this mixture on a spray bottle. Spray it on the grate. Soak the cover of the burner in this mixture as well.
Let it work in dissolving debris for about 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, use soft-bristled brush to remove debris. Remove dirt in the holes of the burner. Dampen cloth in clean water and wipe all of it dry.
