Eight Steps to feng shui your desk to create your feng shui office
.) Having your own desk space is something you really need! You will have a better peace of mind, steadiness and consistency in your daily work life.
.) Each object on your desk needs to have its own place.
.) Make sure your desk has a strong lamp to keep it well lit when you are working in a dark or dingy environment.
.) Make sure that all wiring to electronic devices is neat and tidy, and positioned in a way that means you will not have any risk of tripping over cables.
.) There should be side panelling on the desk to make sure that it doesn't reveal your legs to anyone who enters the room.
.) Think about the size of your desk - too small a desk will cause you to feel stressed from having a lack of space. On the other hand, a desk that is too large will cause you to feel overshelmed with resonibility, especially if you're the kind of person who easily lets paperwork pile up.
.) What is behind you when you sit at your desk? It should ideally be a solid wall rather than a window. There also needs to be a decent amount of space between your back and the wall for comfort.
.) It is not recommended to work beneath a ceiling that slopes or horizontal structural beams. You should work under a flat ceiling if possible. If you cannot do that, make sure you are beneath the highest part of the sloping ceiling.
Making these small adjustments will lead to more success in your business!
